The 2010-2011 School Year is off to a great start!
Welcome to the new school year. I am very pleased to be
back at Hannah Gibbons-Nottingham/STEM school this
year as the second grade teacher. It is wonderful to
have many of my first graders from last year, as second
graders now. I anticipate another great year with the
returning students and extend a warm welcome to our
new school community members.
Hannah Gibbons-Nottingham School has been
designated as a STEM (Science Technology Engineering
and Math) school. Instruction will focus on getting
students thinking about real-world problems and how to
solve them. This problem-based learning will help
develop the skills your child will need to be successful in
the future.
